about the artist
To Kieli Storm, who grew up never far from the beaches
of Massachusetts, seaglass has an emotional value not
only because of the sand-scrubbed beauty of the sea-
tossed glass itself but also of the circumstances under
which it is found. After two years at Skidmore College
and one year studying in the Netherlands and traveling
in Europe, Kieli transferred to Massachusetts College
of Art, where she earned a BA degree with a major in
metals in 1996.
Kieli established SilverStorm & Co. and started creating one-of-a-kind seaglass and sterling silver jewelry in the spring of 1997. Since then she has been selling her jewelry at high-end art and craft shows, at privately arranged trunk shows, and as individually commissioned pieces. Kieli and her unique creations can be found most days at her sunny studio just behind Riva Restaurant in Scituate harbor.
